Well you've arrived
Fueling the fire
Burning their eyes
Still waking life
Sticking to the middle
Walking in a circle
Only holding for you
Sticking to the middle
Giving in a little
Only holding for you
Everywhere will grow weeds
Cycle through summer seeds
Only holding for you
Only holding for you
Coven words ripen soon
Static verse - neural soothe
Conduct's blank to curb the truth
I'll be the one you rip into
Dusted earth off your boots
Lick the salt from your wound
Check your words and they'll
Turn to ash and cinder
They never work you for yourself
Just here to be some fucking help
Definitely harsher than the debut EP, but I'm not complaining! I think the ambition and will to experiment on this album really pay off for some high quality post-rock music. James Loves You
This album is one of the many bands coming out of Chicago, my hometown, that gives me overwhelming hope for future music. The music is overwhelmingly fantastic and dreamlike; makes me feel like I'm daydreaming whenever I put on one of the tracks. Matt Brady
An easy-to-love combination of emo and jangle pop, the first full album from Spirit Night in eight years feels bathed in a golden glow. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 8, 2023
Dreamy, hallucinogenic shoegaze and slowcore on this single from L.A.’s Milly, with syrupy guitars and woozy vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 28, 2019
You know, this album, and particularly "Perfect World" give this sort of "your life is what you make it" kind of theme to it---all while being served with a very hip and catchy melody...personally I'm transitioning from #3 to #2 in terms of this song, and it only took 23 years! Aaron Jay Turkheimer
