Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. This album is one of the many bands coming out of Chicago, my hometown, that gives me overwhelming hope for future music. The music is overwhelmingly fantastic and dreamlike; makes me feel like I'm daydreaming whenever I put on one of the tracks. Matt Brady
